Welcome, we are excited to introduce the Brainiac Team—a diverse group of fictional children from around the world, created from the vision, professional experiences, and educational values of the owner of Brainiac In-Home Tutoring.

The characters were created in her image and reflect her commitment to helping children become stronger, more confident readers. Their stories are based on actual or similar reading and reading-comprehension challenges she observed during years of working as a guest teacher and tutor in multiple school districts, elementary-level reading groups, and one-on-one tutoring sessions.

Each character will help introduce and reinforce important reading and reading-comprehension skills while encouraging children from Pre-K through Grade 3 to read, participate, ask questions, and become more independent learners.

The Brainiac Team represents children from different countries, cultures, backgrounds, and learning experiences. Through their stories, young readers will also use a map to locate and learn about different countries around the world.

The characters will promote inclusion, teamwork, self-advocacy, peer-to-peer learning, and the belief that every child can contribute to the learning process.

You may notice that some of the prototype characters’ faces are currently covered. You may also see temporary faces created through another source while the official facial designs are being professionally developed and reviewed. These temporary images do not represent the final approved faces of the Brainiac Team.

We are protecting the official concepts so they are not copied, shared prematurely, or mistaken for the completed character designs. The official faces will be revealed after the final illustrations have been approved and the appropriate intellectual-property protections are in place.

Under current ownership since 2012, Brainiac has continued to evolve, expanding from local in-home tutoring support to include online tutoring for tutees and families worldwide. 

As we celebrate more than 14 years of tutoring support, families may qualify for our 20-Year Anniversary Rate and save up to 25% off our standard rate on standard summer package deals under 20 session hours, depending on the number of children enrolled, with additional discounts for families enrolling 3 or more children and paying upfront. 

This summer, set aside 2 or 3 hours a week for academic growth while still making family plans for camps, vacations, and family fun.
