Brainiac provides one-on-one tutoring support designed to help tutees strengthen academic skills, stay organized, and build confidence throughout the school year. In addition to reading, writing, and math support, families may request additional academic support services based on the tutee’s needs and Brainiac service availability.

Contacting Teachers

With parent/guardian permission, Brainiac may contact teachers to better understand classroom expectations, missing assignments, academic concerns, or recommended areas for tutoring support.

School Visits

School visits may be available in a limited service area and must be scheduled in advance. These visits may help Brainiac better understand the tutee’s academic environment, school expectations, and/or support needs.

Additional Core Subjects

Brainiac provides tutoring support in additional core subjects at no additional cost.

Baseline Assessments

Brainiac offers free baseline assessments in reading, writing, and math to help identify strengths, possible skill gaps, and tutoring starting points.

Online Assignments & Homeschooling Support

Brainiac can help tutees stay on task with online assignments, classroom work, school projects and/or homeschooling assignments. Tutors can provide guidance with organization, pacing, directions, note-taking, and skill reinforcement while encouraging the tutee to complete work as independently as possible.

Back-to-School Academic Support Includes:

• Free reading, writing, and math baseline assessments
